There are stereotypes of space that need to be deconstructed, such as ‘space is only for people who like STEM’ or ‘space is a waste of money’. It is usually seen to be a ‘complex’ scientific discipline that requires a high level of knowledge. I believe a fresh perspective in the midst of the ongoing development of space in Australia makes this topic unique.
